Today’s question to Dr.Mika is “Can you share an easy exercise at home to strengthen my feet? I have flat feet and feel like my feet get tired easily!”
Answer: Yes! I’d love to share what I call the “Rock, Paper, Scissors” exercise. It’s very simple and doesn’t require any extra equipment. It can be done while you’re working at your desk or sitting on your sofa watching TV. I’m sure everyone has heard of the game “Rock, Paper, Scissors”, right? Try mimicking the same move with your toes! Hold each pose for 20 seconds at a time and go through each move three times. For “Rock”, curl your toes. For “Paper”, expand your toes, stretching them out as best you can. For “Scissors,” lift your big toe up and down, so that your toes and big toes create the V shape.
